Boston Restaurant Talk-SAVR Opens in Boston’s Seaport District

A brand new restaurant has come to the Boston waterfront after being in the works for approximately a year.

According to its website and social media, SAVR opens today in the city’s Seaport District, moving into a two-floor space within the St. Regis Residences luxury residential complex on Seaport Boulevard. The person behind the new dining and drinking spot–which calls itself a “spirited American bistro–is David Doyle, who has been involved with such places as Smith & Wollensky, Temazcal Tequila Cantina, and Tony C’s Sports Bar and Grill, and is not to be confused with David Doyle who runs Tres Gatos and Casa Verde in Jamaica Plain.

The menu for SAVR features New American fare and comfort food, including such options as oysters on the half shell, grilled shrimp, a beet salad, pappardelle bolognese, lobster fra diavolo, brick pressed chicken, pork chops, prime rib, and boneless ribeye along with beer, wine, and cocktails.
